It was reported that Hrithik lost confidence in Nikhil’s abilities after his two back-to-back flops, Hero and Katti Batti.
But Nikhil has a different story to tell: "Hrithik was never confirmed for Baazaar. We only had an hour-long conversation about the film. I am still completing the final draft."
When prodded to describe the film, Nikhil says, "It has to do with power, obsession, a tumultuous relationship between two men and the stock market."
Nikhil still seems helpless about his latest flops.
"It’s not as if I planned to have two releases in a week," he says. "Hero would have been released earlier but it got delayed for various reasons. Meanwhile, I started Katti Batti, which was finished without delays. So it’s just a coincidence that the two films ?came? together."
