Author J K Rowling has ruled out any plans of not returning to the Harry Potter franchise.

The seventh and last book in the Potter series 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' was released in July this year.

However, Rowling says that she will not consider quitting writing another Potter novel, especially as she seems to keep doing things that she had sworn not to do again.

"Is that (a prequel) not a little bit Star Wars Episode I? "I'm not going to say 'never' because 'never' in my life acts as a red rag to bull and I've immediately wanted to do whatever it is I said never to," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Rowling also revealed that she had been been stunned by the reaction caused by her revelation that Hogwarts headmaster Professor Albus Dumbledore is gay.

The revelation provoked more that 3,000 comments on Harry Potter fansite, The Leaky Cauldron, and Rowling admits that she never expected the furore it raked up.
