Rowling fended off some 16,000 queries from readers worldwide, on a live online chat from London. The above was her revelation on the book she is now working on, Book Six.
On being asked about the magical powers she would like to possess, Rowling, 38, said, 'I would like to fly. And sometimes turn off other people's voices.' The last sentence was reportedly targetted at the hype around each launch of the Harry Potter books.
She confessed she would like most to spend a day with Harry, take him out for a meal and apologise for everything I put him through. Rowling refused to answer a reader's question whether the bad Voldemort would die, saying, 'Now do you really think I would answer that?'
As a parting shot, she revealed that she would revise all the Harry Potter books, once she completes Book Seven: 'You won't need them [prequels]. By the time I've finished, you'll have all the back story you need.'
