Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows is scheduled for release in two parts on November 19 and July 15, 2011.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the studio is also planning to convert the remake of Clash of the Titans into 3-D.
The 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz might also get a 3-D treatment, reports the New York Post.
Meanwhile, JK Rowling's wizard boy has beaten every TV show, film and song as well as YouTube and Facebook to land the title of greatest "entertainer" of the decade.
To come up with a "top 100" list of the things that have kept people entertained, American magazine Entertainment Weekly looked at films, TV shows, albums, books, characters, dresses, music videos and trends.
It said: 'Harry Potter lives in our memories more vividly than any other character we''ve read or seen on screen this decade.'
