In director Major Ravi’s Picket 43, Prithviraj plays an Indian soldier, who is left behind in a lonely picket on the India-Pakistan border.

“This is not a war film and it is not talking about the relationships between two countries. Instead, it is about an unlikely friendship that happens at the toughest of times,” says Prithviraj.

Picket 43 has been shot in various schedules in Kashmir. Hindi actor Javed Jaffrey is also part of the cast.

Major Ravi is known for his war related films with Mohanlal in the lead, like Kirti Chakra and Kurukshetra.

Prithviraj says that Picket 43 is unconventional, running for less than two hours, preferably without an interval.
