Power Star Pawan Kalyan's next Telugu film this year after Teenmaar (a remake of the Hindi film Love Aaj Kal) is Panja.
The movie is directed by Tamil director Vishnu Vardhan of Billa fame. Many titles were suggested for the film -- Kaali, Shadow, Power -- before settling on Panja.
It is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Neelima Tirumalsetti.
Pawan plays an underworld don in the film. Models Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania (of Kingfisher calendar fame) share space with Pawan Kalyan. It is said that Anjali will perform a belly dance in the film.
Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music and Sreekar Prasad edits it. P.S. Vinod handles the camera and Shyam Kaushal choreographs the action.
Panja is scheduled for a December release.
