Mammootty is doing a double role in Balyakalasakhi, the movie adaptation of legendary writer Vaikom Mohammed Basheer’s novel of the same name. He plays Majeed and also his father.
The film is about Majeed’s romance with Suhara. Isha Talwar of Thattathin Marayathu fame
plays the role of Suhara.
Characters popularised in Basheer’s novels will also be seen in the film.
The shooting of the film is being completed in Kochi and Kolkata.
