Prithviraj and Vineeth race to make Saji Thomas biopic?

As it happens, stories cooking behind the scenes can be more exciting than the movies!

Like this one: Last week, a debutant director had announced that he was going to make a film on the life of Saji Thomas, a deaf-mute school dropout from Idukki, who made a two-seater aircraft on his own. Vineeth Sreenivasan was said to be playing the lead.

But it seems Prithviraj has bagged the rights of the story, and the project has been titled Vimanam.

If sources are to be believed, the young hero has already started working on the film, which will be produced under his own banner August Cinemas and will be directed by debutant Pradeep M Nair.

Who will fly the aircraft first, Prithviraj or Vineeth? Let's wait and watch.

On the rocks become Rock Star

Director V K Prakash will be seen back in action, with Rock Star, releasing December.

The film, which will mark the debut of Thaikkudam Bridge singer Siddharth Menon as a hero, was earlier called On The Rocks.

V K Prakash tells us the change in the title has been done for designing purpose.

Eva Pavithran plays the heroine, and the script has been written by Rajasree Balram.
