Two Indian Web shows have made it to the International Emmy Awards 2020 nominations.

That's not all.

Made In Heaven actor Arjun Mathur has bagged the coveted Best Actor nomination.

Last year, Radhika Apte represented India at the Emmy Awards along with film-maker Anurag Kashyap. While Apte was nominated in the Best Actress category for her performance in Lust Stories, the Netflix anthology movie was nominated in the TV Movie/Mini Series category.

Saif Ali Khan's Sacred Games had also scored a nomination.

While these didn't win, it was McMafia, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, that won the Best Drama Series award.

Namrata Thakker gives us a look at this year's nominees.

Delhi Crime

Written and directed by Richie Mehta, Delhi Crime has been nominated in the Best Drama Series category.

Did you know that Richie worked on the show for six long years? Initially, Delhi Crime was supposed to be a film, but Richie turned it into a seven-episode Web series.

With a cast led by Shefali Shah, the show was based on the horrific Nirbhaya gang-rape case.

Like Shefali says about the show, 'Delhi Crime is my learning curve. I have never worked like this in another film or show.'

Four More Shots Please!

Nupur Asthana and Anu Menon's directorial show Four More Shots Please! has earned a nomination in the Best Comedy Series category.

Streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the first season was one of the top three Indian original series on the OTT platform, whereas the second season made it to the top spot.

Four More Shots Please follows the lives of four women -- Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, VJ Bani and Maanvi Gagroo -- and how they deal with life and relationships in a male-dominated society.

Made In Heaven

Arjun Mathur, who plays Karan Arora in Amazon Prime Video's Made In Heaven, has been nominated in the Best Actor category.

Arjun plays a homosexual and he said it is intimidating to kiss another man. Incidentally, he's played gay before in Onir's I Am.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the show is about a pair of wedding planners (including Sobhita Dhulipala), who set up grand weddings for the city's rich folk.
