Thalaivi, the film based on the late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalitha's life, is in production.
Filming began recently in Chennai. Thalaivi is being made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut plays the title role while Arvind Swami will be seen as legendary star-politician M G Ramachandran aka MGR, Jayalalitha's mentor. Prakash Raj will play Jayalalitha's politival adversary, the legendary DMK politician Karunanidhi.
The first look and teaser of Thalaivi was unveiled in all three languages. Kangana has nailed it, bearing a striking resemblance to Jayalalitha.
The teaser shows two avatars of Jayalalitha -- as a movie star and as politician.
Jason Collins, who worked in the make up department on Hollywood films Blade Runner and Captain Marvel, is behind Kangana's look as Jayalalitha.
