Bollywood is all set for Diwali.
As is custom, the Bachchans will throw a Diwali party, and most Bollywood folk will be invited.
But the other major annual bash won't be happening.
Aamir Khan usually throws all-night Diwali parties, which is a must-do on every Bollywood star’s list. This year, however, he is shooting for Nitish Tiwari’s Dangal in Punjab.
Says a regular star-guest at both parties, "Everybody usually goes to the Bachchans’ bash first and then to Aamir’s. He keeps an open house on Diwali night. It’s the most happening night-spot on Diwali night. This year Diwali won't be the same without Aamir’s bash."
Diwali celebrations are also on at Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan's homes.
"Diwali is big for the Sinhas," says a source. "A big all-night Diwali party was being planned by Sonakshi and her brothers when news of the BJP’s electoral defeat in Bihar trickled in."
"I am in Delhi for party work right now," says Hema Malini. "Diwali would be with my family. There is not much to celebrate this time. My party has suffered electoral losses and
Dharamji lost his brother."
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who likes to make Diwali a time to refurbish his home, is rushing against time to complete his epic December release, Bajirao Mastani.
