Presented by Dadasaheb Phalke Academy, the award will be given on the birth anniversary of father of the Indian film industry Dadasaheb Phalke on April 30.
Thirty eight associations of the film industry are associated with the Academy and this year the award ceremony will be presented by G V Films Limited, a statement issued in Mumbai on Wednesday said.
Earlier Sunil Dutt, Dilip Kumar, B R Chopra, and Manoj Kumar have been conferred upon with 'Phalke Ratna' award.
