But there is a bigger reason for the Dhawans to get excited now.
Rohit is all set to tie the knot with his long-standing sweetheart.
Speaking shyly on the impending wedding Rohit says, "I am getting married in February. But right now, my entire focus is on the box office collections of Desi Boyz. So I've put wedding plans on the backburner."
On being prodded about the bride-to-be Rohit reveals, "She has absolutely no connection wth the film industry, and that's a blessing. With all of us at home constantly talking cinema, I need a window to the outside world. Her name is Jaanvi and I've known her for seven years. I wouldn't exactly call her a childhood sweetheart. During the time we've been together, we've gradually come to realise that we were meant to spend our lives together."
Rohit says he wants the wedding to be a quiet affair for just close family and friends.
However, dad David's circle being what it is -- he is the only filmmaker in Mumbai who is equally close to the Bachchans, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt), a 'quiet wedding' sounds unlikely.
In fact, sources close to the family inform that the Rohit-Jaanvi wedding is expected to be one of the most lavish weddings that filmdom has seen.
The wedding date will not clash with the other big wedding in the month, that of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza.
