The 29-year-old actress recently posted on her Twitter account a picture of herself with Diesel and the symbol of his film xXx in the backdrop.
Because of this very reason fans are now speculating that Deepika might co-star with him in the upcoming film of the franchise.
Deepika, who was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's directorial venture Tamasha co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, was offered Vin Diesel starrer Fast & Furious 7 back in 2013.
But the actress turned down the offer because of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela.
Currently, Ms Padukone is busy promoting her upcoming magnum opus Bajirao Mastani which also features Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra in the lead!
