What it's about: Omung Kumar's biopic is based on the pradhan sevak's life. It will showcase Narendra Damodardas Modi's political rise and the trials and tribulations he faced on his way to the top.
No Fathers in Kashmir

What it's about: Two 16 year olds find love amidst the harsh realities of life.
The makers of No Fathers in Kashmir were at loggerheads with the Central Board of Film Certification for eight months. Eventually, the film was passed with a U/A certificate along with a few cuts and a disclaimer.

What is about: A remake of Saeed Akhtar Mirza's cult classic, which starred Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Smita Patil.
The film is about a common man who is angry not just with society and politics, but with himself for feeling helpless.
Kalank
Director: Abhishek Varman
Cast: Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Dutt
Release Date: April 17
What it's about: Co-produced by Karan Johar, Kalank is a love saga set in the 1940s.
One of the biggest releases of this year, it also features Kunal Kemmu and Kiara Advani in special appearances. This is the last script KJo's late father Yash Johar worked on and the project is understandably close to Johar's heart.
