The film will star Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall. Writer-director-producer Michael Patrick King is now working on the script and is expected to finish it by May. This will be his first film.
The show, which ends its sixth season, was adapted from a column that Candace Bushnell had written for the New York Observer and created by Darren Star.
