Charu Rohatgi, who has been a part of the television and film industries, passed away on Monday morning, after she reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.
Parineeti Chopra, who played Charu's daughter in Ishaqzaade, took to Twitter to pay her condolences.
'RIP Charu Rohatgi ma’am. You were the most loving mother in Ishaqzaade and an amazing woman to work with. May your family have the strength to cope with this loss. Will never forget you!!!,' she wrote.
Charu was also seen in Vikram Bhatt's 1920 London.
