After all, not only was the hit film shot there, it also won an award at the Australian Indian Film Festival.
To cheer for the film were the Chak De ladies -- Tanya Abrol (left, who played the Punjabi girl Balbir), and Sagarika Ghatge (who played the beautiful Preeti Sabarwal) -- along with the film's director Shimit Amin.
