Box Office: Dishoom gets a good opening

Last week's release Dishoom has done well at the box office in its first weekend.

Salman Khan's Sultan is steadily heading towards Rs 300 crore mark.

Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives us the weekly box office verdict.

 

Dishoom

Cast:  John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshaye Khanna.

What works: Varun Dhawan and his charm!

What doesn't: John Abraham.

Number of weeks: New.

BO verdict: Opens well.

What works: Rajinikanth, of course!

What doesn't: Film has nothing new to offer or say, even Rajinikanth's popular gimmicks are missing.
