The hits and misses of the week.
Last week saw two big Diwali film releases -- Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn's Shivaay.
Both films saw a below average opening as collections are usually dull on Diwali day.
They benefited on Monday and Tuesday, since both days were holidays in many parts. Unfortunately, both will fall short of targets.
Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives us the weekly verdict.
