The Colors channel challenged the government's decision to restrict the airing of adult shows like Bigg Boss between 11 pm and 5 am.
The government on Wednesday directed Colors and Imagine TV (for their show Rakhi Ka Insaaf) to change the broadcast timings of their shows to a late night slot following complaints of vulgarity.
Now, the latest update is that Colors can telecast Bigg Boss at its usual hour as the High Court has put a stay order.
The High Court will also issue a notice to the Ministry scheduling the next hearing for November 22. So the show can be aired during the prime time till then.
A channel spokesperson confirmed, "We have got a stay order from the Bombay High Court which means the show will be aired at 9 pm."
