Bigg Boss 15: Meet Raqesh Bapat

Raqesh Bapat has been acting for two decades now and is currently locked up inside the Bigg Boss house.

He's laid back, reserved and hasn't taken pangas with anyone in the BB house so far.

Born in Amravati, Raqesh is a model-turned-actor who made his Bollywood debut in 2001 with Anubhav Sinha's hit film, Tum Bin.

 

The following year, he starred in Dil Vil Pyaar Vyar and went to do several movies including Koi Mere Dil Main Hain alongside Dia Mirza and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Heroine.

In 2012, he made his acting debut in Marathi cinema with Aayna Ka Bayna.

 

In 2005, Raqesh made his television debut by playing a negative role in Zee TV's hit show Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar.

He went on to do shows like Maryada, Qubool Hai and Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant.

 

The 42-year-old married his Maryada co-star Ridhi Dogra in 2011, but the couple amicably parted ways in 2019.

 

Raqesh loves painting and won a National award for art when he was in Class 9.

He shoots in London for Tu Aashiqui with co-stars Jannat Zubair and Ritvik Arora.
