"The band is called Ayushmann After School. My first concert is on Valentine’s Day in Ahmedabad," Ayushmann tells us.
However, Ayushmann’s long-term music partner and composing collaborator Rochak Kohli will not be a part of the band.
"Rochak will compose some of the songs for our concerts but he cannot travel all the time to be part of the concerts," he explains.
Ayushmann is still meeting musicians, who could be part of his band. “I have finalised a female drummer and flautist. I started jamming for the concert in Ahmedabad immediately after the release of Hawaizaada," he says.
He plans to hold other concert tours after the one in Ahmedabad.
"We plan to hold a concert in Delhi and then we will perform in the US. There is a lot happening. I remember I used to be desperate to turn actor. Then suddenly, I got a call from Shoojitda (Sircar, director) and Vickey Donor happened. You never know where life will lead you," he adds.
