'The bottom line is everyone makes an Aag'

Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet has received mostly poor reviews from critics as well as audiences.

Among them is Kashyap's mentor Ram Gopal Varma.

The director tweeted a scathing remark about Bombay Velvet and compared it to his own disastrous film Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag.

RGV tweeted, 'The bottom line is everyone makes an AAG and till he makes his own AAG he will b**** about others AAGS until he too burns in his own AAG.'

He added, 'There's a very thin line between confidence and arrogance and only Velvets and AAGS can show the difference. A Slumdog making a film with millions of dollars will not necessarily make a Slumdog Millionaire.'

Later, Kashyap decided to respond to RGV's tweets.

RGV: A director standing by his film rejected by the audience is like him telling a girl "I love myself and I don't care if you don't love me".

Anurag: sir i love you too much.. now put that Vodka aside and sleep.. lots of kisses.

RGV: well sir for ur info I stopped drinking ...I am not into kissing men but love you too.

Anurag: then lets have filter coffee together soon to celebrate the AAG.

RGV: Sir u very well know that I luv u more than u luv me and I suggest that we both have coffee with Karan. And in the course of having Coffee with Karan maybe we can learn from him how not to make Aag's and make Kuch Kuch's.
