If lineage is the criteria for a career, Arjun Kapoor should have been launched by his producer father Boney Kapoor. Instead, Arjun got into a three-film contract with Yash Raj Films, starting with his hit debut Ishaqzaade, to be followed byGunday and Auranzeb.

After that, Arjun will complete his contract with YRF, and move on to his next project, to be produced by uncle Sanjay Kapoor.

He will be seen in the Hindi remake of the 2003 Telugu blockbuster Okkadu. Abbas-Mustan will direct it.

“I have bought the rights of a Telugu film that I want Abbas-Mustan to direct with my son in the lead. My brother Sanjay Kapoor will produce it, under the Sanjay Kapoor Productions banner.”

Abbas-Mustan, who just scored a hit with Race 2,are expected to ink the deal with Boney and Sanjay Kapoor very soon.

Here's wishing Arjun Kapoor much success!
