Three seasons ago when he was a guest on Koffee With Karan, Rohit Shetty hinted that he was going to make a movie with Karan soon.
That moment has arrived.
After making a couple of films with Karan's old pal -- Chennai Express and Dilwale -- and delivering 2017's biggest blockbuster, Golmaal Returns, Rohit is making a movie with Dharma Productions.
He teams up with Ranveer Singh for the first time on Simmba, which KJo will co-produce.
Ranveer plays badass cop Sangram Bhalerao -- by the way, Ajay Devgn's character in Rohit's Singham movies was called Bajirao Singham -- in Simmba which will release on December 28, 2018.
Rohit and Ranveer had earlier worked on what one observer called India's most expensive ad film, Ranveer Ching Returns.
Created to promote Ching's Chinese products, Ranveer Ching Returns was applauded for its style and verve.
Simmba will bring Rohit and Ranveer's madcap talents together. Gosh, we can't wait!
