And it's obviously going to be special.
"A friend of mine told me not to observe Karva Chauth before marriage," Ankita tells us. "We (Maharashtrains) do not observe Karva Chauth; I don’t think even Rajputs observe it."
So what made Ankita take it up? "I like the idea of fasting for the well being of your husband or husband-to-be, breaking the fast and then performing rituals," she explains.
"I also like the idea of applying mehendi and dressing up with traditional finery and jewellery. I will wear a sari on the occasion," she adds.
The thrilled actress adds that some family and friends will join her for the rituals.
