Amitabh back on KBC?

Amitabh Bachchan may be back as anchor of Kaun Banega Crorepati on STAR Plus.

The mega gameshow, which heralded STAR Plus turning into an all-Hindi channel in July 2000, created television history in terms of viewership and catapulted it as the most watched channel.

Sources said the Big B initially signed a contract with STAR for a number of episodes, of which 280 have already been aired between July 2000 and January 2002.

"Bachchan's contract requires him to do 70 to 80 more episodes of KBC," they said, adding the channel is awaiting the outcome of the Conditional Access System implementation before taking a decision on shooting fresh KBC episodes.
