He will be soon seen in the seven installment of Fast & Furious, that is set foran April 3 release worldwide.
Ali will share the promotional space with the film’s cast Van Diesel and Dwayne Johnson.
But before that, there was activity in India as well.
Over the weekend, Ali participated in a ‘drag race,’, a form of car racing where brakes are not applicable, at Amby Valley, in Pune district, to promote the film.
"Fast & Furious 7 producers Universal Studios had arranged the drag race as part of the film’s promotion in India," Ali says.
Ali was the sole representative of the film’s cast. "Audiences in India won’t be disappointed by the length of my role. I have enough footage to make my presence felt," he adds.
The young actor, who started his career with 3 Idiots, wants to expand his horizons. “I was offered a role in the Homeland series but I couldn’t do because the dates clashed with my film, Khamoshiyan. But I wish I had done it. Look at how much notice the series got Nimrat Kaur.”
