After just a fleeting glimpse of Christina Aguilera comes the news that Alanis Morissette will perform at MTV India's Indian Music Awards show, the IMMIES.
The seven-time Grammy winner has been one of rock's leading ladies over the last decade. Her straight-from-the-heart lyrics and angst-filled vocals -- which have sold over 40 million albums -- are perhaps the perfect antithesis to the belly button baring bravado of Aguilera.
The IMMIES will be held in Mumbai on December 10, and will be hosted by Cyrus Broacha and the inevitable Mandira Bedi.
The show will also feature teen heartthrob Darius.
