Akshay Kumar is all set to take a break from comedy after Sajid Khan's Heyy Babyy and Priyadarshan's Bhool Bhulaiya and return to his first love, martial arts.

His next film, Made In China, will be action-packed, and will showcase his martial arts skills. It will be shot in China, making it the first Indian production to be shot there.

Nikhil Advani, who has directed musical dramas like musicals Salaam-E-Ishq and Kal Ho Naa Ho earlier,

will helm the film. The film will be produced by Warner Bros Pictures, and co-produced by Ramesh Sippy Productions.

Akshay plays Sidhu, a lowly Mumbai cook who is mistaken for a martial arts hero. Deepika Padukone, who makes her debut in Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om, will star in Made In China.

The film has been written by Shridhar Raghavan (of Khakee fame). Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonca will score the music.

It will go on the floors in January.
