S Saraswathi brings the latest updates from the Tamil film industry.
Rumours about Nayanthara producing a film for director Vignesh Shivan, with whom she is believed to be in a relationship, have been doing the rounds for weeks now.
According to a recent report, Nayanthara wants Ajith to play the lead in it. But with Ajith busy for the next two years, things don’t seem to be very encouraging for Nayanthara.
But the actress doesn't believe in giving up. Apparently, she has offered Rs 1 crore a day to the stylish actor to get his call sheet!
If all goes well, Nayanthara will play the female lead, making it their third collaboration after Billa and Aarambam.
Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivan is working hard at penning a script that will entice Ajith.

Samantha to romance Sivakarthikeyan in her next
Samantha had walked out of Dhanush’s Vada Chennai recently, reportedly because of her marriage plans with Naga Chaitanya in the near future.
But the pretty actress surprised everyone when she signed up a film with actor Sivakarthikeyan, who is on a roll with a series of hits to his name.
The film will be directed by Ponram, who has previously worked with Sivakarthikeyan in blockbusters like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan.
Meanwhile, Amala Paul has replaced Samantha in Vada Chennai.
Now one wonders why Samantha, who shared a wonderful onscreen chemistry with Dhanush in the superhit Thanga Magan, backed out of the film.
