Aishwarya, Shriya, Nayantara: Rajinikanth's HOTTEST heroine? VOTE!

December 12, 2014

An extra point to them for performing the daunting task of sharing screen space with the formidable superstar!

Rajinikanth's newest offering, Lingaa, hits screens nationwide December 12.

In a first, the Thalaiva will be seen next to Sonakshi Sinha, who he was admittedly too nervous to work with.

In his long career, Rajinikanth has worked with quite a few actresses.

How did some of his leading ladies fare on the hotness scale?

VOTE for your favourite Rajini heroine at the end!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Enthiran

Ash was the epitome of grace and beauty as the harrowed Sana, girlfriend of renowned scientist Dr Vaseekaran (played by Rajini, of course) who is obsessed with the robot he's developing.

Shriya Saran, Sivaji

As titular character Sivaji's devoted-to-a-fault and orthodox wife Tamizhselvi, Shriya Saran comes into her own in the song sequences of the film.

Nayantara, Kuselan

The feisty actress matches Rajini step for step in an extended cameo in Kuselan, starring Pasupathy and Meena in the lead roles.

Nagma, Baashha

As the rich kid love interest of the righteous Baashha, Nagma showcased ample screen along side Rajini's charisma. The 1995 action drama was directed by Suresh Krissna.

Khushboo, Annamalai

As Annamalai and Subu in yet another Suresh Krissna film, Rajinikanth and his leading lady Khushboo were a treat to watch.

The 1992 entertainer Annamalai, along with Baashha, also happens to be one of the biggest commercial hits of the Thalaiva's film career.

Manisha Koirala, Baba

In his 2002 fantasy-action film that he also wrote and starred in, Rajini was paired opposite Manisha Koirala. Just how bewitching does she look in that sheer black sari?

Ramya Krishnan, Padayappa

And here we have the Padayappa leading lady Ramya, who he spurns in the film, striking a pose next to him.

Deepika Padukone, Kochadaiiyaan

We are all to familiar with Deepika Padukone's famous turn as the Rajini leading lady in the duo's last release Kochadaiiyaan.

Soundarya, Arunachalam

Soundarya strikes the perfect pose with her leading man in Sundar C's 1997 Tamil drama Arunachalam

Vijayshanthi, Mannan

One of the few actresses who didn't serve as a prop in a Rajini vehicle, Vijaysanthi matched the superstar's charisma with her signature fearlessness in Mannan.

Fun fact: She is credited as possibly the only actress to have slapped Rajini in a film -- something even the villain doesn't get to do normally.

Amala, Velaikkaran

In the Tamil remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Namak Halal, Rajini and Amala showcased some crackling screen time and chemistry.

Shobhna, Thalapathi

Shobhna's Subbulakshmi is romanced by Rajini's Surya in Mani Ratnam's 1991 Tamil film Thalapathi.

Meena, Muthu

Yet another big blockbuster to mark Rajinikanth's career, this 1995 film curiously went on to launch his stardom in Japan, where the film was a monster hit.

He was paired in the film opposite Meena, his costar in films like Ejamann and Veera.

Sridevi, Moondru Mudichu

Rajini and Sridevi are paired here in K Balachander's 1976 romance drama Moondru Mudichu. The duo was also seen in films like Priya, Naan Adimai Illai, and 16 Vayathinile.

Like her traditional avatar?

Sripriya, Bhairavi

Bhairavi was Rajinikanth's first film as a male lead. His chemistry with Sripriya was appreciated and the pair went on to star in films like Billa and Polladhavan.

So what are you waiting for? Vote now!
