Aamir Khan's wife Kiran Rao seems to have found a liking for Pratiek Babbar, son of Raj Babbar and the late Smita Patil.

Kiran will direct the young actor in her directorial debut.

According to the grapevine, she was very impressed by Pratiek's performance in Aamir's production, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, where he Genelia D'Souza's

brother.

Kiran is tight-lipped about her project but a source tells us that it will be an urban film, to be shot at real locations.

Kiran had earlier Ashutosh Gowariker in Lagaan and Swades.

Meanwhile, Pratiek has bagged a role in Baiju-Tansen, where he will play Baiju Bawra, the singer who challenged Mughal Emperor Akbar's official court singer Tansen.
