Is Shah Rukh Khan acting in a remake of Amol Palekar's lovable film, Golmaal?

What struck us was how similar SRK's looks in the film were to Palekar's in Golmaal.

For those who have seen the 1970s laugh riot, SRK seems to look like the simple Ram Prasad Dasharath Prasad Sharma, in his traditional kurta pyjama and moustache.
