Johansson turns director

Actress Scarlett Johansson is all set to don the director's cap when she makes her directorial debut with New York, I Love You.

 

The project that also includes director Woody Allen, takes in 12 directors to create five-minute films, all love stories set in New York City.

 

According to the New York Post, directors Anthony Minghella

and Mira Nair, have confirmed that Johansson and Allen will be a part of the project.

 

Johansson, whose a great admirer of Allen, said that she just adored Woody and feels that they have a lot in common.

 

Rumours are also circulating that Johansson was approached by Courtney Love to play her in Heavier Than Heaven, a forthcoming Kurt Cobain biopic.
