First look: Mussanje Maathu
April 02, 2008 12:09 IST

After playing an action hero in the hugely successful Gooli, Sudeep will be seen as a young radio jockey in his latest Kannada movie, Mussanje Maathu (Talk in the Evening).

Giving him company is the film's heroine, Ramya. The pair was last together four years ago in Yogaraj Bhat's Ranga S.S.L.C.

Mussanje Maathu, which is scheduled for a May release, (the audio is releasing this month) is actually the name of a radio programme. The story is about Ramya, a village belle who dreams of meeting Sudeep, her favourite anchor of her favourite programme on the radio. She moves to the city and meets him. The two, however, do not disclose their identities to each other.

This is Mahesh's directorial debut. In the past, he has assisted many senior directors like Srikanth Kulkarni and Ravi Srivatsa.

Top cinematographer Sundaranatha Suvarna wields the camera while the music is by V Sridhar.

The audio will be released in the first week of April.
