First Look: The Madhur Bhandarkar makeover
December 11, 2006 17:01 IST

Talk about a makeover.

Actress Neetu Chandra, last seen bouncing around as one of Akshay Kumar's bimbettes in Garam Masala, has been completely transformed for her role in Madhur Bhandarkar's new film, Traffic Signal.

The film is about the underbelly of Mumbai city, as seen from a busy traffic intersection. The director is trying to point out the cross-section of varied life that goes on there, from the begging industry to the eunuchs, from the streetwalkers to the vendors selling pirated novels.

The film also starts Kunal Khemu, Ranvir Sheorey, Konkona Sensharma, and director Sudhir Mishra.

Traffic Signal is scheduled to hit theatres in February 2007.
