Aamir Khan turns 40 today, March 14. To celebrate this special occasion, rediff.com spoke to Farhat, Aamir's younger sister.
I
am younger than Aamir by four years. So he would always bully me but in a nice way. He could be very charming if he wanted anything from you. He'd say, 'you're very sweet, go get me a glass of water.' And I'd run and do as he said!

If I complained he was bullying me, she would ask me to leave him alone and sit with her.
This would make me more upset and I would shout, 'Why don't you tell him to move. Why should I always be the one to go away?'
But Aamir was very sweet and a very good teacher. He would teach me Maths and French.
When the exams approached, I would be after him to teach me. He was very clear in his teaching but he used even this as a favour. If I refused to do anything for him, he would refuse to teach me.
He loved solving things and his obsession, at one time, was the Rubik's Cube. Aamir was very good at solving it. He would try to see how fast he could do it. He would make me time him.
I'd do this a few times and get bored. And he would reply that some day he would to break the world record at that, and he would say that my sister Farhat helped me!
This would bring up such thrilling visuals of glory that I'd sit back and do as he said all over again.
