Noted Marathi playback singer Jaywant Kulkarni died at his residence in Mumbai's suburban Vile-Parle following a prolonged illness. He was 75.
Kulkarni gained popularity through his songs in Dada Kondke films. His songs like Manacha dundit lahrit ye na and Hichi chal turu turu were immensely popular.
