Witchcraft, potions, Quidditch, spells, magic. Yes! The celebrity wizard is back! And he is all of 13 now.

The screen adaptation of J K Rowling's third book in the Harry Potter series — Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban — enjoyed a world premiere at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

Starring Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter and his partners-in-crime Rupert Grint and Emma Watson (Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger), The Prisoner of Azkaban explores another adventurous chapter in the young wizard's life.

The earlier two films, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, were huge successes at the box office. So, a lot more is expected from the new darker tale. In this part, notorious murderer Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) escapes from the Azkaban cell in pursuit of Harry.

While Christopher Columbus helmed the previous Potter flicks, Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón (Y tu mamá también) directs Prisoner of Azkaban.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban opens in the US and India on June 4.
