The friendly neighbour returns! This time, he promises to churn more action and adventure!

Columbia Pictures' Spider-Man 2 re-unites the cast and crew of the first film about the internationally loved comicbook hero created by Marvel executive Stan Lee and company character designer Steve Ditko.

Spider-Man, which hit the screens in the summer of 2002, turned out to be a smashing hit across the globe. It made a whopping $820 million worldwide and is the fifth highest grossing film in US box-office history.

Directed by Sam Raimi, Spider-Man 2 has Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst reprising their roles of Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson.

In the first movie, Spider-Man fights the evil Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe). This time, he encounters the evil scientist Dr Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina).

The film is scheduled for a June 30 and July 23 release in US and India respectively.
