Hrithik-Preity: new film, new look

April 07, 2004

Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya is slated to release June 11. Said to be a love story between an armyman (Hrithik Roshan) and a journalist (Preity Zinta), the film is Akhtar's second directorial outing after his witty urban comedy Dil Chahta Hai.

This is the third film that sees Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta together after Mission Kashmir and Koi... Mil Gaya.

Here, the two attend a press conference on the eve of the music launch of Lakshya. The music has been scored by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, who also composed the music for Dil Chahta Hai.

It seems to be a pattern for Farhan Akhtar -- in DCH, he had his cast look funky and urban chic. For Lakshya, Hrithik sports a crew cut and Preity goes in for the short, peppy, easy-to-manage hairstyle.
