Kuch Naa Kaho actually boasts of a story that does not tread a run-of-the-mill path, though portions of the film are clearly 'inspired' by Cameron Crowe's romantic comedy Jerry Maguire.

But, to his credit, debutant director Rohan Sippy has the film under control at least till the pre-climax stage. Once the surprise entry of an actor [whose identity I won't reveal] takes place, however, the climax is nothing short of a mess.

Rohan Sippy's giant hangover!

Kuch Naa Kaho has been in the making for quite some time, and it shows. There are scenes in which Abhishek Bachchan looks straight out of his second movie, Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya. In others he looks terribly distressed, with dark circles under his eyes [and it's not even a crying scene!]. Aishwarya Rai looks drop-dead gorgeous in parts and harried in others. Somewhere down the line, the off-screen emotional baggage of the actors appears to have weighed down their on-screen appearance.

On the positive side, Shankar-Loy-Ehsaan's zingy music score peps up this unusual love story. Besides its upbeat soundtrack, the genuinely funny moments between Abhishek Bachchan and a bunch of uniformed kids constitute another plus for Kuch Naa Kaho.

In a nutshell, Kuch Naa Kaho offers clean entertainment, great music and decent performances, though at an inconsistent scale.
