Fill up the tanks of your cars and scooters before the weekend before petrol prices shoot up.
This was the advice of senior CPI-M leader Sitaram Yechury, given jocularly, when he was asked about the impending petrol price hike.
"They are waiting
for the break in the Parliament session to hike the prices. By Saturday, you will see the petrol prices will shoot up. So fill the tanks of your cars and scooters. You will make some little savings," he said.
The CPI-M has been protesting the increases in the prices of petroleum products blaming the government for deregulating petrol pricing which was leading to regular hikes.
