XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India's most prestigious B-schools, has refused to train Bihar's politicians.

This comes as a setback to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his one-year old government which had approached XLRI to help impart training to politicians in the art of management.

"XLRI will not train Bihar's politicians. We have not accepted the Bihar government's request. It is not possible for us to train them," XLRI director Father N Casimir Raj said, not giving any further details.

Interestingly, the XLRI refusal comes shortly after former Bihar chief minister and current Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad was invited by IIM Ahmedabad to lecture its students.
