Chandra received the Doctorate from Lord Gulam Noon, the Chancellor of the University of East London.
Chandra thanked the entire senior management team at the Royal Dock Business School, saying, “It is indeed a privilege to be recognised outside one’s country, and in the presence of such highly acclaimed and respected individuals. I thank you all for bestowing this prestigious award that I feel honored to receive.”
Addressing the graduates, Chandra said, “You should never consider yourselves to be “developed” at any point in time, but should always consider as “developing” in order to never stop learning and enhancing yourself. The key to happiness is to live in the present, rather than regretting about the past, or worrying about the future.”
