TCS certified as top employer in US for 2nd straight year

Tata Consultancy Services has been named as a top employer in the United States for a second consecutive year by the Top Employers Institute, an employer certification agency.

TCS was recognised as an exceptional performer across nine categories: talent strategy, workforce planning, on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, leadership development, career and succession management, compensation and benefits, and culture.

"This award further demonstrates our deep commitment to attracting and retaining the best people by creating innovative practices and programs to ensure their success, which in turn benefits our customers," TCS president of North America, UK and Europe Sury Kant said.

The Top Employers certification is awarded to a select group of employers who demonstrate forward-thinking HR practices, exceptional employee offerings and an employee environment that promotes personal, professional development.

"Our comprehensive research concluded that Tata Consultancy Services provides an outstanding employee environment and offers a wide range of creative initiatives -- from benefits and learning and development opportunities to well-thought-out career management programs -- that are truly aligned with the company's culture," Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink said.

Besides, TCS, the other top employers in the United States of America include, BSH Home Appliances Corporation, Chiesi USA Inc, DHL, Dimension Data, Faurecia USA Holdings Inc, JT International USA, Orange Business Services, Saint Gobain, Technip North America and Valeo USA.

"Each of these organisations demonstrated a forward-thinking Human Resources environment that is continuously working to optimise its employee conditions and leading the way in the development of its people," the institute added.
