LG India launches Lead XI campaign

LG India launched recently a new Lead XI campaign highlighting LG's affiliation towards cricket endorsement.

LG Electronics, official sponsor for ICC World Twenty20, announced the third edition of their association with ICC and promoting the national spirit among the kids and realising their dream of walking with the cricket heroes to the ground through their unique campaign Lead XI.

The Lead XI contest started on February 1 and will end on February 28.

LG has launched a national television commercial highlighting the contest.

The consumer durable company plans to acknowledge the young talent and present 'India's future star' on a global platform.

The television commercial features four winners (Siranjeet Singh, drummer from Delhi, David Noronha, painter from Mumbai, Bhanvi Gulati, contemporary dancer from Pune, and Neha Kaur, classical dancer from Kolkata) from the Lead XI team 2009 showcasing their talent which made them win the opportunity to reach the level of enormous pride and instant fame.

The television commercial will be aired on leading national channels.

For the contest, 15 children will be selected through a national level competition. A 30-second audio-visual film of the child displaying his/her extraordinary skill/s will make him/her a star!

The video needs to be uploaded on LG India website or submitted at one of the LG Best Brand Shoppe.

A panel of independent judges selected by LG will judge the entries and select the winners. LG will also sponsor a trip of each successoful child's parent to the West Indies.

The creative design for the Lead XI campaign is handled by Rediffusion Y&R and the television commercial is produced by Lemon Yellow Films.
