Sierra Atlantic, a leader in offshoring enterprise applications, has announced that it has opened an office in Toronto, Canada, to accommodate its rapidly expanding Canadian customer base.

Sierra Atlantic also announced new Canadian customers including PotashCorp, Agropur and Dynea, a release said. The Canadian expansion closely follows their acquisition of Sceptre Database Consultants in January.

PotashCorp, Agropur and Dynea have all selected Sierra Atlantic for its strong Oracle E-Business Suite expertise and deep research and development relationships with Oracle and other leading enterprise business applications vendors.

While PotashCorp is the world's largest integrated producer of nitrogen, phosphate and potash, Agropur is a major Canadian dairy processor and Dynea is the world's leading provider of industrial adhesive systems.

"Offshore IT services are just as interesting to Canadian businesses as to our US customers. We leverage that demand to accelerate our growth both on and offshore by providing world class enterprise application services to our customers," Sanjay Khendry, vice-president of Sierra Atlantic said.
